Download a database browser if you do not already have one. But, the scan works well enough that it does get the correct channel number. Plex will add the channels to the database, however, it will not add them correctly. Start a channel scan and let it complete like normal. Anyway, luckily for us (that have been posting for help without luck) there is a way to modify the database to get it to work. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening, and is obviously a pretty serious bug that needs to be fixed. This causes many channels that should work to be dropped. In some cases, when Plex is doing channel scans, it assigns the same channel identifier for multiple channels. When I was doing channel scans, Plex would show 80+ channels, but only ~30 channels when I finished the scan.
